The MEGA® Fuse is designed for high current circuit protection. Rates up to 250 amperes are ideal for continuous loads while rates between 300A and 500A are suitable for high In-rush currents and fast peaks. With "Diffusion Pill Technology", the MEGA® Fuse also provides time delay characteristics. Designed and patented by Littelfuse, the MEGA® Fuse is ideal for battery and alternator protection application and other heavy gauge cables requiring high current protection.
The Clear Housing version is designed to resist extreme temperatures at the contact points (V0 Flammability Class according UL94) and allows to identify immediately blown fuses.
